Consultations
Have you always had an image of your ideal cake in your head or have you seen a cake that you simply love? Bring along your ideas to the consultation and we can sit with you to design the cake of your dreams. Consultations are by appointment only and cake tasting samples will be provided at the consultation.
Allergy Advice
Nuts
Our fruit and carrot cakes contain nuts as an ingredient, although nut free recipes are available on request. Our other flavours do not contain nuts as an ingredient; however, we cannot guarantee that the ingredients used are not contaminated at source. Our cakes are not suitable for anyone with a serious nut allergy as they are prepared in an environment where nuts may be present. If you have a nut allergy, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Alcohol
Our fruitcakes are made with brandy. The sultanas in the carrot cake are soaked in rum prior to cooking. All of our cakes can be made alcohol free upon request.
Dairy
All our cakes contain dairy products with the exception of our Carrot Cake which has a sunflower oil base and is, by nature, dairy free.
Eggs and Wheat
Unfortunately, all of our cakes contain both eggs and wheat.
Delivery Options
We are more than happy to deliver your wedding cake and set it up at your wedding venue. If you choose to have your cake delivered, we will liaise with the banqueting team at the venue regarding timings and set up. We normally deliver to the South of England, but we are happy to consider delivery to any location.
All cakes can be collected from our West Sussex base. Should you collect your cake, we are not responsible for any damage to your cake once it has left our premises.
Delivery charges
Delivery charges are available on request.
Payment Details
To confirm an order, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required. The balance is due one month before the delivery or collection of the cake. We accept payment by cheque or BACS transfer.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your order for any reason up to 21 days before the date of your event, the deposit (30%) is non-refundable. All other monies paid will be refunded by business cheque within 14 days. If your order is cancelled less than 21 days from the designated event date, you shall receive a refund of 25% of the total cost.
Cake Stands and Knives
Usually these are provided by the wedding venue or caterer. If this is not the case, we are happy to hire these to you. Our charges and hire terms are available on request.
